The World Hasn't Been Sleeping:

After a ludicrously prolonged absense [too much work], I have a bit of catching up to do. So I'll dive straight in:

• After praising the UN for their tree planting initiative, I find out that it was pointless.
  


• On a business front, some of the UK's biggest businesses have acknowledged that climate change needs tackling; while on the other side of the pond, the Chrysler chief economist has a different view.
  


• Al Gore thinks we Brits are doing a splendid job in tackling climate change; a group our own MPs think otherwise.
  


• The British want more "green" cars.
